Are you coachable?
This verse can be applied to the topic of being coachable. It is one thing to have a coach that can help you improve your game, but the more important factor is how coachable you are. It doesn’t do much good to have good instruction from a coach if you aren’t willing to listen, receive the coaching, and, as this verse says, “apply your heart” to the instruction. Sometimes people view the Bible as a rulebook & God as a referee who blows the whistle on our lives. He is not! Instead, He is the best coach for life we could ever ask for & He has given us the best playbook for life we could ever imagine – the Bible. He loves you & wants the best for you.
Questions:
1. How coachable are you with the instruction God gives you?
2. How are you doing at applying God’s Word to your life?
