Since 1977, Hockey Ministries International has been active in every level of the game, from youth, college and junior, up to minor pro and the NHL. Through our many camps, chapels, clinics, and conferences we serve and support the spiritual needs of players, coaches, families and fans.
Hockey Camps
Each summer HMI hosts approximately 2000 of hockey's youth at Christian Hockey Camps International. World class hockey instruction is presented alongside a solid Christian gospel message by a caring and dedicated staff. Each camp, unique to its locale provides a fun and engaging atmosphere and is a special week of development and learning in the lives of each of these young athletes.
Chapels
HMI's chapel program, now present in 25 North American leagues, is offered to teams, providing a safe spiritual and emotional resource for players. It is also an opportunity for all players to seek answers, counsel and support, from Chapel Leaders. The chapel program has been recognized by various leagues as being a positive addition to players' schedules.
Breakfasts and Outreach Events
Hockey Ministries is pleased to sponsor and present a variety of breakfasts, banquets and conferences. These events have become a great means of encouraging and connecting players, fans and hockey families with current, elite level players and alumni. Each HMI Breakfast features a solid Christian message alongside stories and testimonies from the battlefields of professional and international play. Strategically, Hockey Ministries Breakfasts parallel some of the world's biggest hockey events including the annual NHL All-Star Game and World Championships.
As well, at the grass roots level, HMI is very active in working alongside local area churches and Christian ministries as they connect the reality of Christ to the game within each region.
Local Rinks
Hockey Ministries International is firmly committed to supporting the local community and seeks to include each expression in the game of hockey. This includes the local otdoor rink, community arenas to the stadiums where the professionals play.

"Today, a church is not only a dwelling or building, but also something much more fluid. Sometimes the church is a rink, locker room, hotel lobby or an encounter that takes place on the ice."
